A strong community

The large number of members and volunteers all over Germany makes the TID a very powerful Tibet Support Group. All these people are raising their voices for Tibet - meanwhile in TID's over 50 Regional Groups and Contact Points.

The volunteers ...

• organise vigils and demonstrations as a protest against the political situation in Tibet,
• organise public talks and other events in order to inform about the occupied country,
• collect signatures, e.g. for our FREE ME campaign for the release of political prisoners,
• remain in contact with regional political decision makers,
  
• mobilise and fascinate people for Tibet,
• act as contact persons for the local press and the public.
